A local real estate firm is looking to build 20 townhouses throughout a multi-building development near the center of Milford.
Molly Rentals LLC, an affiliate of Milford-based Christopher Fields Realty, is pitching Buckingham Commons at 242 Buckingham Ave., at the intersection of New Haven Avenue.
The project calls for seven buildings, six of which would contain three units each and one building with two residential units.
Each unit will have one bedroom, with study/loft space on the third floor, kitchen and living room on the second floor, and garage on the ground level. The site also has extra outdoor parking spaces and electric vehicle parking.
The developed parcel is just under 1 acre and contains a house, garage and warehouse, all of which would be demolished for the new residential complex, according to the applicants.
The development team includes architect Milton, Gregory Grew of Milford and Engineer Ronald W. Wassmer of Milford.
