My People Clinical Services provides community and mental health support services.
Tell us about your recent accomplishments.
Our most recent accomplishment as an agency is the opening of our sixth supportive housing program. As a family, Dayeshell received her doctorate degree in education with a focus in Performance Improvement Leadership and Abdul-Rahmaan developed a new curriculum for men called The Manhood Tree.
How has your company shifted its strategy during the pandemic?
My People has shifted its focus by discontinuing services that were not profitable and focusing on the programs where there is greater opportunity and need.
What are your family values and how do they contribute to your business success?
Our family values are based around love of our people, leadership and living the life of our dreams. These values contribute to the success of My People because we know that you must love the people to help the people. When you lead by example, you also leave a path for others to follow or replicate and we believe you should Never Stop Dreaming!
Where do you see your business in the next five years?
In the next five years, we will increase our consultation and training services, state and nationwide. We will also increase our supportive housing programs throughout the state and begin to serve other populations in need of support.
