What’s been your biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career?
I pride myself as an advocate for clients, coworkers and the community. Whittlesey’s collaboration has helped me to encourage and support my team, as well as empower our clients to make the best business decisions based on sound research and advice. Being able to make a difference in someone’s life expands much larger than the business environment.
How are you involved in the community?
My work with nonprofits includes supporting their missions, which impact thousands of lives across Connecticut. I am heavily involved with Connecticut Society of CPA’s (CTCPA) and have organized charity drives and events for local nonprofits. I have also served in several different leadership roles within CT Humanities Board and volunteer with CT Cat Connection.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I am active in recreational sports leagues and practice my creativity through being a published photographer. I love traveling and exploring new places and cultures. I also grew up dancing competitively so you can often find me starting the party on any dance floor! At home, I’m usually hanging on my couch with my two tuxedo cats.
Why do you deserve to be a 40 Under Forty?
• Committed to the accounting profession and future.
• Driven mindset and desire to improve technical and leadership skills as a role model.
• Advocating for my clients and coworkers to advance their aspirations.
• Actively involved in giving back to and supporting the community.
Fun Fact
I’ve propagated over 10 succulents from a couple different mama plants.

What are two things that you would like to achieve before you turn 40?
