What’s been your biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career?

My biggest professional accomplishment is being a continued advocate for equity and inclusion in the legal profession. As a mentor for diverse junior attorneys and as hiring chair, I strive to ensure that our future legal leaders reflect the diversity of the community in which we live.

How are you involved in the community?

I serve on the board of Statewide Legal Services of Connecticut (“SLS”), part of the Connecticut Network for Legal Aid providing low-income residents with access to justice and the tools to address their civil legal needs. Prior to joining the board, I served as a pro-bono volunteer for SLS.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family. Some of my favorite destinations include Austria, Costa Rica, Dubai, Florence, Nairobi and the Seychelles.
