What’s been your biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career?

My biggest accomplishment at Hartford HealthCare has been the work I support with our Hispanic/Latinx Colleague Resource and Providers and Allies Network Groups. Building the framework, collaboration of Hispanic/Latinx colleagues across our system to improve and promote culturally competent health care with focus on enhanced resources for our Spanish-speaking patient populations.

How are you involved in the community?

I use my positive attitude, enthusiasm and drive to mentor other leaders to develop personally and professionally. In my advocacy work on the Hispanic Health Council and Hartford HealthCare, it is my personal mission to be a trailblazer in driving sustainable change in bettering our communities and improving health inequality.

What do you like to do outside of work?

My two children, Oliva and Carter, are my pride and joy. Everything I do is for them. Outside of work, I’m always on the sidelines at one of their games or sports events being their biggest cheerleader. I also enjoy being by the water with a great book in hand.
