What’s been your biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career?

My biggest accomplishment at Charles IT has been my ability to build and grow processes within the areas I managed. This helped grow the back-end operations team from three people, including myself, in 2017 to 20-plus in 2023. Many of the current employees have grown with the organization from an internship to full-time roles.

How are you involved in the community?

I’m a volunteer coach with the Middletown High School Ultimate Frisbee Team, specifically during the off-season to help prepare student athletes for the coming season. I was a steering committee member and sat on the board of directors for LEAD CT, a leadership and development program focused on teaching the next wave of local business leaders.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife of five years, Libby, my two beautiful daughters Emmerson and Tatym, and our dogs, Booker and Reese. When not spending time in the craziness of home life, I love to play Ultimate Frisbee and then relax with a nice glass of bourbon.

Why do you deserve to be a 40 Under Forty?

• Helped build out the back-end infrastructure of the business from three people to 20-plus from 2017 through now.

• Was the youngest member appointed to the organization’s executive leadership team at age 26.

• Lead the creation of LEAD CT, a Middlesex Chamber of Commerce program partnered with Dale Carnegie; focused on developing the next wave of local business leaders in Connecticut.

• Played a critical role in the 2022 acquisition of NST Systems and spearheaded the back-end business integration.

Fun Fact

I’m an avid bourbon collector with over 300 bottles in my collection, and love building relationships through bourbon.
