What’s been your biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career?
My biggest professional accomplishment was the opportunity to learn from some of the most experienced and best employment litigators in Connecticut, and subsequently being promoted to principal and office litigation manager at Jackson Lewis.
How are you involved in the community?
I chaired the Junior League’s Career Connections for Young Women program and recently presented on a “How to Get Hired” panel. I have also served as a mentor for Lawyers Collaborative for Diversity and Jackson Lewis’ Rise Mentoring Program. I’ve also participated in panel discussions for 1L students at UConn Law, co-chaired my office’s practicing and parenting resource group, and presented to the bar on employment law-related topics.
Why do you deserve to be a 40 Under Forty?
• Elevated to principal at age 33 and office litigation manager at age 35.
• Experienced trial attorney with some precedent-setting rulings.
• Helped develop Junior Achievement’s Career Connections for Young Women program through my involvement with the Junior League of Hartford.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I’m usually chasing my 6-year-old and 2-year-old around, but apart from that, Peloton rides and spending time on the shoreline.
Fun Fact
I used to teach ballet, tap and jazz classes.
