What’s been your biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career?
My biggest professional accomplishment has been finding a practice that I love. Before joining Shipman & Goodwin in 2018, I always knew I loved the law but had not found my home. Being a school lawyer has become the most enriching experience of my professional life.
How are you involved in the community?
I have volunteered with the Family & Children’s Agency (FCA) for several years and served on its Junior Board of Advisors for 11 years. In my free time, I also regularly volunteer at local organizations and shelters in Connecticut.
Why do you deserve to be a 40 Under Forty?
My commitment to my clients and to providing practical and timely advice is of utmost importance to me.
I am passionate about my community and care deeply about improving people’s lives.
My love and respect for the law is ever-present in my life.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I love spending time with my family and friends. In the warmer months, we spend most of our time outdoors, hiking, on the boat or at the beach. In the winter months, we spend most of our time cooking and finding excuses to get together and laugh.
