What’s been your biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career?
Besides being an HBJ 40 Under Forty honoree, which I am humbled my colleagues nominated me for, watching the continued success of my mentees has been incredibly rewarding. I owe part of my success to my mentors, and always strive to pay that generosity forward.
Why do you deserve to be a 40 Under Forty?
• As the COO, I play a critical leadership role in managing a business with more than $250 million in revenues whose mission is to protect the sustainability of affordable housing, which is vitally important.
• Because I’ve garnered deep expertise in areas that affect our customers nationwide, such as cybersecurity, I am regularly asked to present at industry conferences around the country. Regardless of our customers’ challenges, I’m ready to get involved.
• I’ve played a significant role in growing our organization from 150 employees to 175 and implementing transformational technological improvements to support our future.
How are you involved in the community?
As a mission-driven organization, HAI Group is always looking for ways to give back to our community. In the past year alone, I’ve personally participated in food and school supply drives and Habitat for Humanity, among other things.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I have three kids, ages 7, 6 and 1, so I spend much of my free time coaching their sports teams or watching their many events and activities. I also love playing golf and bringing my older two to the course whenever possible.
Fun Fact
I am the reigning office pingpong tournament champion.
