Three partners at a New York City-based financial firm have left to start an independent advisory practice in North Haven.
The trio recently launched Centel Wealth Advisory, which provides financial advice and planning to individuals and businesses.
Centel is led by founders and managing partners Stephen Fordyce and Robert Bowman, along with Sam DeGennaro, founder and managing director.
They previously worked at Snowden Lane Partners where they managed $2.2 billion in private and institutional assets, according to an announcement.
Fordyce and Bowman are both certified financial planners. DeGennaro has more than 30 years of experience and is a former Certified Public Accountant.
“We created Centel Wealth Advisory to maintain our independence while allowing us the flexibility to add comprehensive services and solutions, advanced tools and technologies, and world-class partners and resources to enhance our business model,” Fordyce said.
Centel Wealth Advisory is located in a five-story office building at 127 Washington Ave. in North Haven, which is near Washington Commons shopping mall.
