Plans for a mixed-use multifamily-retail development at 71 Water St. and 25 Elizabeth St. in Norwalk have gotten the go-ahead from the city.
The Planning and Zoning Commission said it has approved Norwalk-based Skyview Builders’ late-February proposal to build a six-story, 32-unit luxury apartment building with 2,200 square feet of retail space.
Plans include 31 garaged spaces, a residential lobby and retail space on the ground floor, the application states.
Skyview will raze a two-story, 13,000-square-foot warehouse/office building with surface parking on the 0.38-acre parcel before putting up the apartment building.
The building will have a rooftop pool and pool deck, and balconies and private terraces for the residential units.
The proposal names Hyde Park Properties LLC as the applicant, which is controlled by Henry Pawel Gudas, who lists a Norwalk business address at 258 Main St., state business records show. That location is home to design-build company Skyview Builders, which is led by President and Founder Paul Gudas, according to the firm’s website.
