A Pomona, New York-based investor recently paid $2.55 million for a 32-unit apartment building in Torrington.
Pomona-based 711 East Main TR LLC bought the 17,028-square-foot brick apartment complex on seven-tenths of an acre at 711 East Main St., from SY 711 LLC in a deal recorded by the city on Jan. 3. The building was completed in 1967, according to city assessing records.
The buying LLC lists Yitzchok Kaufman, of Waterbury, as principal in state business records. The seller lists Waterbury-based apartment investor David Merenstein as its principal.
Kaufman’s listed home address is a 76-unit apartment at 119 Store Ave., in Waterbury, which sold in November for $4.89 million to another limited liability company with ties to Kaufman.
Kaufman is the listed agent of 119 Store Avenue LLC, which bought the Store Avenue property from 650 HOWARD 2017 LLC in November.
The listed principal of 119 Store Avenue LLC is another limited liability company, whose principal is Moshe Landsman, of Lakewood, New Jersey, according to state records.
