A team specializing in intellectual property (IP) law from New Haven-based law firm Murtha Cullina has left to join regional firm Barclay Damon, the company announced today.
The five-person team including practice leader Tony Gangemi, partner Ben White, counsel Donna Lizotte, patent agent Robert Kasten and IP paralegal Liza Blair officially joined Barclay Damon’s Patents and Prosecution; Intellectual Property Litigation; Trademarks, Copyrights & Licensing and Higher Education practice areas in the firm’s New Haven office.
In addition to New Haven, Barclay Damon has almost 300 attorneys in offices across the northeast, including Albany, Syracuse, Buffalo and Rochester in New York; Boston; New York City; Washington, D.C. and Toronto, Ontario.
The IP team from Murtha Cullina brings clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to prominent higher ed institutions. In addition to the new hires in New Haven, Barclay Damon has recently hired new IP associates in New York City and Boston, the firm said. The practice serves clients in all aspects of IP including patents, litigation, licensing and trademarks.
