The former Hartford Medical Association building near Albany Avenue in Hartford’s West End could soon be replaced with a 68-unit apartment building under a proposal before city officials.
Engineer Gareth Wilson, of consultant BL Companies, on June 17, submitted a wetlands permit to replace the medical association building on 3.78 acres at 230 Scarborough St., with a 25,635-square-foot apartment building with 136 parking spaces.
The site doesn’t contain wetlands, but construction would be within the 100-foot watercourses buffer of the nearby Park River.
The building last sold for $425,000 to Anisha LLC, whose principal is Matthew Dean Haubrich, of West Hartford.
BL prepared the development plans for Anisha LLC, according to documents submitted to the city.
Attempts to reach representatives of Anisha and BL were not immediately successful Monday.
