8 CT companies make Inc. Magazine’s fastest-growing list

Inc. Magazine has released its list of the fastest-growing private companies in the Northeast region, which included eight Connecticut businesses. 

The Inc. Regionals 2024 list includes the 1,132 fastest-growing companies from every region of the country. The rankings are based on a company’s revenue growth percentage from 2020 to 2022.

To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2020, according to Inc. 

There were 198 companies recognized from the Northeast. Eight were based in Connecticut, down from nine local companies that made the list last year.  

The Connecticut companies that made the list collectively experienced 221% median revenue growth over two years, and added 358 jobs during that time period.

The Connecticut companies included:

  • Tastes Natural, Danbury, 716% revenue growth (Ranked 20th overall in the Northeast)
  • New Silver, West Hartford, 335% revenue growth (Ranked 56th)
  • Stratedia, Groton, 321% revenue growth (Ranked 59th)
  • Athletic Brewing Co., Milford, 313% revenue growth (Ranked 61)
  • Budderfly, Shelton, 129% revenue growth (Ranked 121)
  • Mammoth Security, New Britain, 97% revenue growth (Ranked 151)
  • RCN Capital, South Windsor, 87% revenue growth (Ranked 163)
  • ASG Information Technologies, 66% revenue growth (Ranked 180)
