99-room Windsor Locks motel sells for $4.95M

A property hosting a 99-room Motel 6 in Windsor Locks recently sold for $4.95 million, nearly 74% more than its 2018 selling price.
In a deed recorded April 1, Shivaan Inc., of Windsor Locks, sold the 36-year-old, 27,120-square-foot motel on 2.3 acres at 3 National Drive to Jai Mataji CT LLC, of Manchester Center, Vermont.
Shivaan Inc. had paid $2.85 million for the property in 2018, according to town records.
The seller’s principals include Neil Patel, of Pittsford, New York; Milin Patel, of Longmeadow, Massachusetts; Nitin Patel, of Groton; and Jagdish Patel, of East Haven.
The buyer’s principal is a Vermont-based LLC, whose principals are Smeet Gandhi, of Las Vegas, Nevada and Jaydeep Ghandi, of Manchester Center, Vermont.
Smeet Ghandi and Jaydeep Ghandi are also principals of another LLC that bought a property hosting the 80-room Manchester Inn & Suites hotel in 2022.
The business pair paid $5.1 million for the 52,909-square-foot hotel in Manchester. The property had previously sold for $3.6 million in 2016.
