Adam Clemens is vice president of sales at Century 21 Clemens Group, an award-winning real estate firm serving all of Connecticut. He currently leads his firm’s luxury real estate division and oversees technology development. Throughout his career he has listed and sold over $120 million of real estate. Proudly regarded as a thought leader in the industry, Clemens has taken the stage at global events for Century 21, Realtor.com, Inman and Realogy.
What’s been your biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career?
Selling real estate is an incredibly personal responsibility. I take great pride in every sale on behalf of my clients so it’s hard to choose one over another. Undoubtedly, one of my coolest professional accomplishments was launching Century 21’s global rebranding live on ESPN’s SportsCenter to over 89 million viewers.
How are you involved in the community?
Ten years ago I co-founded The Linda Clemens Breast Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to providing support to local families affected by breast cancer. I sit on the New England board of directors of the American Cancer Society and I’m a member of Giveback Homes, building homes for families in need.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I absolutely love spending time with my amazing wife Kathy and our rescue dog Tucker. We’re an athletic family that really enjoys the outdoors, so if you don’t find us out and about in Glastonbury, we’re likely hiking, enjoying the beach in Old Lyme or at a local winery.
Four reasons why you deserve to be a 40 Under Forty:
• Proudly regarded as a national top producing Realtor.
• Earned the coveted Centurion Producer Award, top 1 percent of Century 21 sales professionals nationally.
• Co-founded a nonprofit breast cancer foundation at the age of 27; we’re in our tenth year serving our community.
• Helped create and develop an Alexa skill for Realogy, launched to a live audience of over 11,000 Realtors.
I modeled in college, both runway and print and was even featured internationally.
