Aer Lingus is expanding its flight service schedule to Ireland from Bradley International Airport beyond just the summer tourism season, the airline announced.

The Irish airline company said it is adding new flight options from Bradley to Dublin Airport during the fall and winter seasons, making it almost a year-round service.

The new schedule has been expanded to include:

  • Three-times-a-week flights from Oct. 28 through Jan. 5.
  • No operations from Jan. 6 through March 12.
  • Three-times-a-week flights from March 13 through March 28.
  • Daily flights from March 30 through October 2024.

Aer Lingus relaunched operations from Bradley International Airport to Dublin Airport earlier this year after shutting them down during the COVID-19 pandemic. The route to Dublin is the only direct flight from the airport to Europe, Aer Lingus officials said.

From March through July of this year, Aer Lingus recorded 39,310 passengers flying in and out of Bradley Airport, according to data from the Connecticut Airport Authority.

Dublin Airport offers U.S. Customs and Border Protection preclearance, meaning Bradley-bound passengers will be able to complete all necessary U.S.-entry requirements in Dublin ahead of their departure back to the country.
