Amid hot demand, Southington car wash property sold for $1.1M

A Southington car wash property along Queen Street has been sold for more than $1 million.

Paol Realty Co., of Mt. Kisco, N.Y., bought the car wash at 254 Queen Street from Steven J. Krawczyk, principal of 254 Queen St. LLC, for $1.1 million in a deal recorded May 14. 

The car wash sits on more than 4.5 acres along the busy commercial stretch of Southington’s Queen Street, across from the Walmart super center plaza.

Built in 1988, the car wash resembles an older style with several self-wash bays and a drive-thru automatic car wash.


The demand for new car wash properties has grown, with more modern facilities popping up all over the state, many of them funded by private equity investors.Owners of the Southington car wash property could not be reached for comment.
