Those with a New Haven zip code get a 10% discount Wednesday only on International Festival of Arts & Ideas tickets at the event’s website.
Log into the festival’s website at artidea.org and register to get the discount automatically applied.
The deal does not apply to $20 student prices, tours or food events and cannot be combined with any other offers.
Executive Director Shelley Quiala said, “New Haven is the festival's home. I hope that this small gesture is a reminder that the International Festival of Arts & Ideas is first and foremost for our neighbors.”
The International Festival of Arts & Ideas returns this year as a full event after two years of limited offerings.
A total of 85% of the festival’s 200 in-person events are free, including music on the Green featuring the Gospel Picnic, Americana acts the Split Coils & Carrie Ashton, and Latin dance with Orquesta Afinke & Alex Cuba.
Ticketed offerings include a comedy show with Netflix star Michelle Buteau ($45), a cocktail party thrown by vegetarian Indian restaurant Pataka ($35) and a performance by the Dallas Black Dance Theatre ($45).
Events for the 2022 International Festival of Arts & Ideas start on Thursday.
