Avon’s Presscott Associates acquired by Philly accounting firm

Avon health care management consulting firm Presscott Associates has been acquired by a Philadelphia-based accounting firm.

Presscott Associates will be combining its practices with ParenteBeard LLC, a top 25 U.S. accounting firm. Terms of the deal are not being disclosed, but  Presscott Associates will retain its name and operate as a division of ParenteBeard.

ParenteBeard currently has offices in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Connecticut, Texas and Maryland.

Presscott Associates was established in 1989 has has two partners and nine team members who will be joining ParenteBeard. the healthcare management consulting firm provides specialized services to a diverse healthcare client base including hospitals, physicians, integrated delivery systems, national and regional health plans and life sciences and technology companies.
