Bristol-based aerospace and industrial manufacturer Barnes Group announced it has a new chief accounting officer.
The company’s board of directors disclosed in a U.S. Securities and Exchange filing that it has appointed Troy W. Ingianni to serve as the principal accounting officer, effective Sept. 15.
At that time, Marian Acker, who currently holds that position, will transition to a senior advisor role as she heads into retirement. Acker informed the company last year of her plans to retire in 2024.
Ingianni, 49, is currently Barnes Group’s vice president, global controller. He has been with the company for over 13 years, serving in roles of increasing responsibility, most recently as the assistant corporate controller from September 2023 to September 2024.
He earned a master’s degree in accounting and MBA from the University of Connecticut.
As a result of the promotion, Ingianni’s annual base salary has been increased to $270,000. He also received a one-time equity grant consisting of restricted stock units with a value of approximately $125,000.
