LATICRETE, a Bethany manufacturing company which makes construction-related products, has promoted Art Mintie to serve as its vice president of customer experience.

Mintie will lead the company’s new customer experience department, which combines its technical services, customer service, quality assurance and LATICRETE University departments.

Mintie joined the company in 1995 as a member of its technical services department. He has moved up the ranks in the department, and most recently served as its senior director.

According to Mintie, the company expects to enhance communication with its customers by combining its four customer-facing areas.

“We will be able to create a seamless, transparent customer journey that makes interacting with our company easy and positive,” Mintie said.

ASG Information Technologies picks new president from within

ASG Information Technologies, a Wallingford-based IT company, recently promoted Ryan Kreger to president.

Kreger, who joined the company in 2014, had most recently served as the company’s vice president.

In his new position, Kreger will continue to oversee business development, client services, and general management. His expanded responsibilities include additional staffing decision-making, strategic planning and risk management.

Robert Mitchell, the company’s founder and CEO, said Kreger has been “instrumental” in the company’s growth in recent years.

“I look forward to reaching new levels of success and growth with his increased involvement in strategic planning,” Mitchell said.

The company provides computer support, network and cybersecurity, data backups, and IT consulting services to small to mid-sized businesses. Its clients include manufacturers, credit unions, insurance agencies, healthcare firms, accounting firms and other professional services firms.
