BioTouch expands, acquires Titan Solutions of Ireland

West Haven-based BioTouch, a provider of outsourced medical supplies and healthcare industry services, announced it has acquired Titan Solutions of Shannon, Ireland. 

Titan Solutions provides logistics, kitting, and life sciences supply chain management services.

BioTouch was founded in 2018 and provides tech-enabled logistic solutions for medical labs, hospitals, as well as university health systems and independent labs. BioTouch is a portfolio company of Atlantic Street Capital, a private equity firm that invests in lower middle market companies.

Atlantic Street Capital Managing Partner Andy Wilkins said the acquisition will support BioTouch’s global expansion strategy, including key product developments and clinical trials.

“The company will continue to grow through both organic growth initiatives and acquisitions of unique and complementary businesses like Titan Solutions,” said Wilkins.

CEO of Titan Solutions Paul Collins said the acquisition will help strengthen BioTouch’s global presence.

The deal is expected to put BioTouch in a better position to support the needs of its customers across 160 countries, according to an announcement.

Ruth Abdulmassih, CEO of BioTouch, said this would be done using the combined effort of the company’s existing strategies and Titan’s expertise in life sciences supply chain management.
