Bloomfield-based BVH Integrated Services acquired

An employee-owned California engineering firm has acquired Bloomfield’s BVH Integrated Services.

BVH, which provides building and site engineering services, officially merged with Santa Ana-based Salas O’Brien on June 1, according to officials on both sides of the deal. A purchase price was not disclosed.

BVH’s current leadership will remain in place, and the firm will take on the Salas O’Brien name after a transition period.

Salas O’Brien executives said the linkup will complement the firm’s ongoing push into New England, with a particular focus on higher education institutions that are looking to reduce their carbon footprint.

Salas O’Brien has more than 1,100 employees across 43 offices.
