A 52,402-square-foot Bloomfield industrial building hosting manufacturer HISCO Pump has sold for $1.6 million.
The sale of 2 and 4 Mosey Drive, which was recorded Nov. 13, means HISCO has a new landlord, but operations have continued seamlessly, said Matthew Montineri, principal of the limited liability company that bought the properties.
“The tenant will remain the same, so nothing will change,” Montineri said.
Montineri is also owner of a Florida-based division of HISCO, a family-owned company that manufactures and sells industrial pumps and parts. His father – Joseph A. Montineri Jr. – launched the company in 1976.
Matthew Montineri said his father retired years ago, passing ownership of the company to his children. This sale is the last piece of the leadership transition, said the younger Montineri.
Combined, 2 and 4 Mosey Drive includes 3.6 acres and hosts a 1970-vintage light industrial building of concrete construction.
The limited liability company that sold the properties lists its principals as Joseph A. Montineri Jr., of Port Orange, Florida; William Robinson, of West Hartford; and Thomas Knapton, of Henniker, New Hampshire.
Robinson and Knapton are HISCO employees who are shortly to retire, Montineri said.
