Blumshapiro names Rudewicz to leadership team

Blumshapiro, the largest regional business advisory firm headquartered in New England, with offices in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island, has named attorney Frank E. Rudewicz to the firm’s leadership team. Rudewicz will lead Blum’s litigation and valuation practice.

Rudewicz has more than 30 years of experience in conducting domestic and international investigations for fraud, forensic accounting, asset tracing and other litigation related matters. He lectures and teaches frequently on these topics and is the co-author of Forensic Accounting and Fraud Investigation for Non-Experts (3rd Edition).

Rudewicz previously served as principal, counsel and partner-in-charge of forensic services at Marcum LLP. He also has served as managing director and special counsel for several national accounting firms and senior managing director and counsel for an international risk consulting and investigative firm. Earlier in his career, Rudewicz spent 14 years in law enforcement with the Hartford Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Rudewicz is a member of the board for the Baystate Financial Charitable Foundation and board member and past president of the Connecticut Chapter of Association of Corporate Counsel. He is an elected Fellow of the Connecticut Bar Foundation and admitted to the Connecticut and Federal Bars. Rudewicz earned his juris doctor from the University of Connecticut and a bachelor’s in industrial technology and public safety management from Central Connecticut State University.
