Furniture dealer OFI, which has locations in Stamford and Newington, has been acquired by a global furniture company headquartered in Boston.
Creative Office Resources completed its purchase of OFI on Sept. 15, according to an announcement.
Officials from Creative Office Resources said the company’s expansion in Connecticut will have a “transformative impact” on the marketplace.
“OFI has a distinguished history and trusted brand, and we eagerly anticipate the collaboration of our teams," said Paul Fraser, COO and partner of Creative Office Resources.
OFI, which has customers in Connecticut and Westchester County, New York, will be rebranded under the Creative Office Resources name by the end of the year, the announcement says.
Rick Mills, CEO of OFI, called the merger a “dynamic fusion of two powerhouse dealerships.”
Creative Office Resources has more than 440 employees across 13 locations, including two warehouses, in the New England and the Tri-State regions.
