Concessions at Bradley International Airport are getting a facelift, with a new restaurant, Starbucks and other upgrades slated for later this year, according to airport officials.
The Connecticut Airport Authority announced this week that its concessionaire partner, Paradies Lagardère, will be upgrading its six existing retail establishments at Bradley, including two CNBC Stores, two New England Travelmarts, one iStore, and the Avanti Marketplace.
Across the next year, four of the stores will be updated while two will reopen under new names: CT River Landing and Charter Oak Emporium, respectively.
In addition to the retail upgrades, a Starbucks is slated to open in the post-TSA food court area by the end of the summer. Further, Beercode Kitchen & Bar, a sitdown restaurant, is planned to open soon at the Gates 20-30 concourse. According to airport officials, the restaurant will have a gastropub-style concept offering breakfast, lunch and dinner menus with a lineup of local craft beer and other drinks.
