A multifamily, two-building property in Bridgeport has been sold for more than $9 million.
The Bridgeport Commons apartment complex contains nine studio apartments, 73 one-bedroom apartments, and four two-bedroom apartments over 67,000 square feet.
Building 1, at 1525 Central Ave., has three-stories and 36 units. It was built in 1967 and contains almost 25,000 square feet of space.
Building 2 dates back to 1970, containing 50 units over four stories, and more than 42,300 square feet of space.
Bridgeport Commons LLC sold the complex to Joel Strulovic and Commons on Central LLC for $9.9 million. Strulovic could not be reached for comment.
Bridgeport Commons purchased the property for nearly $2.5 million in 2002.
Both buildings are located directly across from Bridgeport Hospital in the Boston Avenue/Mill Hill neighborhood of Bridgeport.
Brad Balletto, Rich Edwards and Robert Paterno, from Shelton-based Northeast Private Client Group, represented the seller and procured the buyer in the deal.
