An auto repair and used car dealer in Bristol is seeking a zone change to expand its business operations onto a vacant lot next door.
Vilaznim and Bashkim Sadriu are principals of 16 Andrews Street LLC, which is seeking a zone change from single-family residential to general industrial for a property located next to their Quick Auto Sales and Repair at 16 Andrews St., Bristol.
The auto repair and sales shop sits on just under half-an-acre in a primarily residential neighborhood in between Frederick and Beacon streets, with a vacant lot next door that Sadriu owns.
He plans to use the space to accommodate both the sales and auto repair parts of the business, which are both growing. It was not known if the vacant lot would be used to park for-sale autos, or if the existing repair building would be expanded onto the next door property, he said.
Another auto shop, A.D. Auto LLC and Elite Collision Center, is located about a block away, near the intersection of Frederick and Andrews streets.
The Bristol Planning and Zoning Commission has a tentative hearing date for the 16 Andrews application on Oct. 16.
