Intellectual property law firm Cantor Colburn LLP has hired four associates and two patent agents. Three of the new attorneys and agents are in the Hartford office with one each joining the firm's offices in Washington, D.C., Atlanta, and Detroit.
The Hartford office adds litigation associate Nicholas A. Geiger and patent agents Michael Lines and Michael E. Gelbin.
Geiger has significant experience litigating patent and trademark infringement matters, as well as false advertising, false marking, trade secret and unfair trade practice matters.
Gelbin is a registered patent agent with more than 18 years' experience in the chemical industry. He concentrates his practice on chemistry, nanomaterials, polymer and materials science, clean technologies and bio-based materials.
Lines is a recently registered patent agent with extensive experience in fuel cell and fuel processing systems from design and development to manufacturing. Most recently he worked as a patent engineer maintaining UTC Power's patent portfolio and managing its patent review processes.
The Washington, D.C., office adds associate Timothy J. Murphy; the Atlanta office adds associate Alicia Brewster; and the Detroit office adds associate Lukas Baldridge.
