Capital Grille officially announces Hartford plans

The Capital Grille has officially announced plans to open its second Connecticut steakhouse, choosing downtown Hartford’s Front Street Entertainment District for its new location. The announcement was made this week by John Martin, who is president of Capital Grille. The well-known restaurant has 47 U.S. locations and is notorious for its dry aged steaks and extensive wine list. “We are absolutely delighted to bring The Capital Grille experience to guests in Hartford,” Martin Martin said. “Our convenient location adjacent to the Connecticut Convention Center offers us an amazing opportunity to be part of a bustling destination for shopping, business and entertainment.” Terms of the lease were not disclosed. Capital Grille will be joining Spotlight Theatres and Infinity Music Hall as the anchor tenants to Front Street. The mixed used development still has up 12,000 square feet of restaurant space available.
