Charles IT acquires Stamford-based IT consulting company

Middletown-based IT company Charles IT said it has acquired a Stamford-based competitor that will expand its market reach and product offerings in Connecticut and metro New York.

Charles IT, which provides IT compliance and cybersecurity services, said it has purchased NST Systems Inc. for an undisclosed sum.

“We’re very excited to bring on board a company with such a consistently high level of customer service that mirrors our own core values, and we look forward to continuing to provide clients with fast response, improved return on investment on their IT, and confidence in their systems,” said Charles IT founder and CEO Foster Charles in a statement.

Charles IT’s clients include companies in the healthcare, manufacturing, government, financial services, and nonprofit sectors.
