When you visit a hospital as a sick patient, you want the staff there to be on top of their game.

That's why Charlotte Hungerford Hospital runs a “Be Well Employee” program that seeks to optimize the health, well-being and productivity of employees and their families, guiding them toward positive behaviors, outcomes and attitudes.

The program hits on all cylinders: workplace, emotional, physical, nutritional, financial and educational.

Charlotte Hungerford employees are encouraged to make physically healthy choices through activities (walks, runs, Be Well challenges), seminars, webinars, biometric screenings, health assessments, health fairs and the hospital's employee assistance program.

The hospital also makes available to workers health coaches and an educational tuition reimbursement program to alleviate financial stress.
