A limited liability company with a physician as a principal recently paid $1.1 million for four office units in a Waterbury medical office complex.
TMG LLC, which is based in unit No. 123 in the Waterbury Medical Center, bought units 107, 305, 323 and 325 in the complex at 1389 Main St., in Waterbury. The sale was recorded by the city Dec. 28.
The units range from 1,233 to 5,480 square feet – totaling 10,488 square feet – in parts of the complex built between 1964 and 1988, according to city assessing records.
TMG’s principals are Dr. Tamer Ghaly and Marian Ghaly, of Cheshire. Dr. Ghaly heads spine and pain management practice iSpine, which has offices in the Waterbury complex, as well as Shelton and Oxford.
Dr. Ghaly was not immediately available for comment Tuesday morning.
The seller, Waterbury Property Investment LLC, lists the Middlebury address of Matthews Commercial Properties as its business address in its state filing. Its principals are Michael Freedman and Mark DiFranco.
Broker Gerry Matthews said he manages several units in the Waterbury Medical Center for Waterbury Property Investment. He represented Waterbury Property Investment and TMG LLC in the recent off-market sale. Ghaly had made it known he wanted to purchase additional units in the complex as an investment, Matthews said. These four units came with stable tenants, Matthews said.
