The Cigna Group announced it is a “founding partner” at Hartford’s Dunkin’ Park through a multi-year sponsorship agreement that began this season.
Terms of the sponsorship agreement weren’t provided, but for Cigna it includes a new backlit sign in the outfield and branding throughout the stadium.
There will also be a community partnership “designed to address the mental health and wellbeing of Hartford-area youth,” the team and Cigna said.
A spokesman said that additional information about the partnership will be released later.
Dunkin’ Park is home to the Hartford Yard Goats baseball club, a Double-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. The stadium has been named “Best Double-A Ballpark in America” four times.
The Cigna Group, a publicly traded health insurer, is headquartered in nearby Bloomfield.
