The Connecticut Bar Association has named Lina Lee its new executive director.
Lee is the founder and former executive director of Communities Resist, a New York City-based legal services organization that, under her leadership, grew to serve more than 4,000 community members and a $6 million budget.
According to the Bar Association, Lee’s career has been dedicated to equity, advocacy for systemic reforms, and collaborations with key stakeholders to advance access to justice.
“I am deeply honored to join the CBA as Executive Director during its 150th anniversary year,” Lee said. “The CBA has a long-standing history of advancing the legal profession, fostering excellence, supporting Connecticut’s legal professionals, and promoting justice. Together, we will build on this strong foundation to drive innovation, foster collaboration, and strengthen diversity and inclusion within the legal profession.”
