Longtime realtor David P. Gallitto recently took over as president of CT Realtors for 2023.
The organization is the state’s largest trade association. It advocates for the real estate industry and has approximately 20,000 members.
Gallitto has been a realtor for two decades and is affiliated with the New Haven-based firm of Huntsman, Meade & Partners.
Gallitto, a Middletown resident, has been on CT Realtors’ board of directors for a decade, and he has had several positions on its executive committee.
“I look forward to serving our members and the industry across the state,” Gallitto said. “I believe active involvement in legislative issues that impact homeowners and real estate as a whole is a priority. We, as an association, need to be the voice for property owners.”
The new president-elect is Carl Lantz of Coldwell Banker Realty. Gallitto takes over the role from immediate past president Tammy Felenstein of William Raveis.
