Residential units in the new Regency at Woodbridge age-restricted housing development will start taking shape this month.
Toll Brothers LLC has been conducting site work on the project at 1710 Litchfield Turnpike since the plans were approved in September by the Planning and Zoning Commission.
The developer is now seeking permission to put sales and construction trailers on-site, and should begin building the first units by next week, town officials said.
Plans call for 70 units for residents ages 55 and older, on 15 acres of land nestled between routes 63, 69 and Bradley Road.
The development will feature nine buildings with four attached condos and one building with three. The units have an open floor plan with up to three bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, a two-car garage and a patio, but no basements.
The complex will also feature a clubhouse, fitness center and outdoor pool.
Toll Northeast V Corp. bought the residential vacant land from Woodbridge Village Associates in March 2023.
