Law firm Day Pitney LLP announced that two of its partners in Connecticut have recently been elected to leadership positions within the firm.
Elizabeth “Beth” Alquist, a Hartford-based partner in the firm’s intellectual property and technology litigation practice, has been elected to serve on the executive committee. She steps into the role after serving as chair of the firm’s litigation department for the last two years.
She joins existing committee members including Managing Partner Gregory A. Hayes and Michael P. Byrne. Alquist succeeds David P. Doyle, who served on the executive committee for four years.
Hayes became the firm’s managing partner last April, and is responsible for overseeing all 13 Day Pitney offices along the East Coast, from Boston to Miami.
In addition, Darren M. Wallace, a partner in the firm’s Stamford office, has been named vice chair of the private client department.
