The state wants travelers to “Find Your Vibe” when visiting Connecticut this summer in its new $3 million advertising campaign.

Gov. Ned Lamont and the state Office of Tourism announced Thursday the state is launching the Find Your Vibe campaign from May through Labor Day weekend. The $3 million advertising program includes a large multimedia push both nationally and internationally and the first major update to www.CTvisit.com in several years.

Per Lamont’s office, the new campaign “reflects a more updated, youthful, and holistic view of Connecticut’s vibrant culture, while focusing on the energy and excitement travelers experience when visiting tourist attractions, hotels, and restaurants, and exploring the state’s abundant outdoor offerings.”

The state’s official tourism website has a revamped homepage featuring new links and pages for visitors to look up things to do and places to go.

For the first time ever, the state will advertise on digital billboards in the new Moynihan Train Hall in Penn Station in New York City and other transportation-related placements targeting events in the Hamptons, NYC Pride and The Governors Ball music festival.

The campaign also includes inflight video spots on JetBlue for the entire summer on targeted flights, including all going into New York City, Boston, Connecticut, and in or out of Florida

There will also be advertisements on all domestic American Airlines flights in August.

This is the first Connecticut summer advertising campaign for Noelle Stevenson, the state’s Office of Tourism director. Stevenson took over late last year for Randy Fiveash, who retired from the post in April 2021.
