CTPharma hosting cannabis job fair this week

Connecticut Pharmaceutical Solutions Inc., or CTPharma, is hosting a cannabis job fair this week in Rocky Hill for both retail and cultivation positions.
The job fair is scheduled for 12 p.m. noon to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15 and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. noon on Thursday, June 16, at the Sheraton Hartford South Hotel, 100 Capital Boulevard, Rocky Hill.
CTPharma has a cultivation and production facility in Rocky Hill as one of the state’s four licensed medical cannabis growers. Chicago-based Verano Holdings Corp. purchased CTPharma in December.
According to information from the company, CTPharma is looking to hire packaging, trim, cultivation, sanitation and production specialists and advisors for retail locations.

Verano has been active in the state in recent years, and is looking to expand its presence in Connecticut.
Earlier this year, the company applied for a special permit to open and operate a hybrid adult-use cannabis dispensary at 2903 Berlin Turnpike, Newington, in the vacant, former home of Bonefish Grill restaurant.
Verano bought Willow Brook Wellness medical dispensary in Meriden in November and said it intends to also buy Waterbury dispensary Caring Nature.
