CT’s Payveris widens its digital-payments sphere

Wethersfield online and mobile digital payments vendor Payveris has linked up with a Nebraska provider of web-based mobile-banking services to banks and credit unions to widen the U.S. market for their services.

Payveris essentially provides the “technical plumbing’’ tied to software that its financial-institution clients rely on to offer money-transfer, bill-pay and account-management features to their banking customers, spokesman Mickey Goldwasser said Tuesday.

Under the partnership, Omaha-based D3 Banking’s digital-banking features will be fully integrated with Payveris' digital payments platform into a single, seamless offering to banks and credit unions, Payveris President Fran Duggan and D3 CEO Mark Vipond said in a statement.

Financial or other terms of the agreement weren’t disclosed.

Launched in 2011, Payveris serves 28 banks and credit unions in the U.S.
