Marijuana producer-vendor Curaleaf Holdings said it’s completed its acquisition of three Connecticut medical dispensaries, which remain open for business by order of Gov. Ned Lamont.

The Arrow Alternative Care acquisition, first announced in March, includes Arrow’s Care Hartford dispensary at 92 Weston St., which opened in 2016, and facilities in Milford and Stamford, which opened in 2017 and earlier this year, respectively.

Curaleaf, which has a new production facility in Simsbury, now operates in 17 states, many of which have allowed dispensaries to remain open as essential businesses during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, including Connecticut.

In order to protect staff and customers, Arrow and Curaleaf said their dispensaries have increased cleaning, adopted social distancing, added new delivery and curbside pickup options, and offered dedicated business hours for seniors and other at-risk populations.
