Hartford-based law firm Day Pitney is partnering with a Virginia law group to provide expanded services and capabilities to clients.
In a statement, Day Pitney and FH+H, of Tysons, Virginia, announced the formation of a “strategic alliance” in which the firms will collaborate and offer their combined services to clients. A spokesperson for Day Pitney emphasized the partnership is not a merger.
Officials with both firms said the agreement will bring together the strong points of each firm — for Day Pitney, its work with national and international corporations, high-net-worth individuals and family offices, in addition to its handling of bankruptcy and restructuring, cybersecurity, data protection and tax matters; and for FH+H, its experience in international transactions, trade compliance and government contracts, including work in the defense and security sectors.
“Our collaboration with FH+H provides our clients with expanded offerings, insights, and strategic guidance when working with and on government contracts,” said Scott Beach, a Day Pitney partner who chairs the corporate and business law department and family office practice group. “We look forward to working together to apply our joint capabilities for the benefit of our clients.”
Day Pitney has close to 300 attorneys at offices in Connecticut, Boston, Florida, New Jersey, New York and Washington, D.C.
