A new townhome community for active adults called Regency at Woodbridge will be opening soon.
The development is being built at 1710 and 1722 Litchfield Turnpike in Woodbridge, near Bradley Road. The town’s zoning officials approved the plans in the fall of 2022.
Pennsylvania-based luxury home developer Toll Brothers Inc. announced on Feb. 15 that the sales center for the new community will open this fall. The developer is currently building a VIP list of interested homebuyers. Details on the construction timeline were not immediately available.
The development will have 70 townhomes, all with open-concept floor plans and personalization options. It is geared toward residents aged 55 and up.
Home buyers may choose from six home designs ranging from 1,900 to 2,500-plus square feet. The homes come with two to three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and garages for two cars. The home prices start in the upper $500,000 range, according to the company’s website.
The developer has a design studio to help customers personalize their future homes.
The new complex will feature a clubhouse, fitness center and outdoor pool, with services such as snow removal and lawn care provided.
Dave Bauer, division president of Toll Brothers in Connecticut, said, “Regency at Woodbridge will offer homeowners the best in luxury active-adult living in one of the area’s most desirable locations.”
Toll Brothers noted the complex will be near major highways and recreational destinations such as Lake Wintergreen, West Rock Ridge State Park, Yale Golf Course and downtown New Haven.
