Direct mail marketing company The Best Postcards is moving out of leased space in Branford to an industrial building its owner purchased in Cheshire.
Hylie Products Inc. sold its 29,650-square-foot building on 4.8 acres at 30 Grandview Court to a limited liability company in a $1.75 million deal recorded Dec. 30.
The new owner, 30 Grandview Court LLC, lists Andrew Ettinger, of Guilford, as one of its principals. Ettinger is CEO of The Best Postcards.
Ettinger said he currently leases an 8,000-square-foot space in Branford and the move will allow a much bigger production area for staff of about 30.
“It’s a long-term investment in my marketing company,” Ettinger said.
Attempts to reach a Hylie representative were not immediately successful. The telephone number associated with the company is offline.
Ettinger said he searched for a “long time” to find an available building that suited his needs.
“There was nothing available,” he said.
