Dr. Kombert named associate VP, medical affairs at Hartford Hospital
Dr. Daniel Kombert has been named associate vice president of medical affairs for Hartford Hospital and medical director of the Hartford HealthCare Transfer Center. In this new role, Kombert will be responsible for the appropriate use of inpatient services at Hartford Hospital as well as providing administrative and medical oversight of the Hartford HealthCare Transfer Center within the Care Logistics Center.
Kombert has been regional director for hospital medicine for the Hartford HealthCare central region since 2014 and is an assistant professor of clinical medicine at the UConn School of Medicine.
Before joining The Hospital of Central Connecticut in 2012, he was vice president for hospitalist services at Stewart Health Care System, serving 10 community hospitals in eastern Massachusetts.
