East Hartford industrial equipment supplier NEFCO has acquired a company in Houston that will allow the business to expand its reach into new parts of Texas, the company announced this week.
NEFCO, a specialty supply partner to professional construction trades with corporate offices in East Hartford and locations across the country, is acquiring FASCO, a construction supply distributor based in Houston.
Deal terms weren’t disclosed.
Following the deal, NEFCO will have a branch network of 37 locations, including two in Texas. The acquisition is NEFCO’s 10th since 2017, the company said.
NEFCO CEO Matthew Gelles said FASCO’s strong market presence will allow the company to broaden its current offerings in Texas. FASCO was founded in 1989, the company said.
